ASI found that 57% of consumers would be more likely to do business with the business that gave them a custom face mask. Over 80% of consumers say they wear masks all or most of the time when in public. 2. ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY MERCHANDISE PRODUCTS
Sustainability is a growing trend. 46% of consumers have a more favourable opinion of a business if the promo product they received was environmentally friendly. Nearly a third of people 55 and older say they purchased more products with an environmental bent in 2019, compared to 2018. And almost a third of women, overall, reported increasing their environmentally conscious spending in 2019, relative to 2018. It pays to be environmentally friendly!

Promotional outerwear is kept by consumers for an average of 16 months. In that time, they’re reported to generate 6,100 impressions. That’s 6,100 eyeballs that will see your brand for each logoed outerwear product you give out!

What makes a consumer more likely to keep your branded tote bag? ASI’s study says quality, utility, and attractiveness. Consumers hold onto t-shirts for an average of 14 months - making them a promotional product with one of the longest shelf lives. With 63% of consumers preferring to purchase products from companies that stand for a purpose, promotional t-shirts can be a great way to showcase your brand’s values and beliefs. Have fun with it!

Again, as we see the trend of sustainability highlight concerns about single-use plastic products, reusable bottles are becoming increasingly popular as drinkware items. 8. WORKING FROM HOME PRODUCTS
